The Athletic Club Genuine Foundation team is made up of people with intellectual disabilities from associations in Bizkaia, participants in other Foundation projects for the same group.

They train weekly at the Lezama sports facilities with Athletic Club coaches and play in LALIGA GENUINE, a LALIGA FOUNDATION project. This championship is divided into four final stages, hosted by clubs from the professional football league (LALIGA). The Athletic Club Foundation team won the first four editions of the Fair Play trophy, which honours the most sporting team of all those taking part in the competition.

The associations Adizmi, Down Syndrome Foundation, Gaude, Geu Be, Gorabide and Haszten collaborate in making the Genuine squad, made up of footballers with intellectual disabilities.

The "Sporting for All" project, which is part of the Sporting Clube de Portugal adapted football team, was born in 2023 with the aim of promoting the practice of physical and sporting activity for all people with disabilities, from a perspective of empowerment and inclusion. social through sport

With more than 30 players we have a young, determined and happy team. This daily shows us the power of sport in general and football in particular in the personal, sporting and social training of people with disabilities.

The Mexican Football Federation has demonstrated its commitment to inclusion and, in its effort to provide opportunities to more sectors of society, undertook the task of finding a team composed of young people with intellectual disabilities to promote their inclusion through football. In this search, the FMF approached Special Olympics Mexico due to their 37-year history in our country of promoting the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities into society through various programs, one of which is sports.

Within these sports, football holds significant importance. It is due to this collaboration between the Mexican Football Federation and Special Olympics Mexico that this team, with its rich history, was selected as the MEXICO INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY NATIONAL TEAM to participate in the Genuine World Cup, Houston 2024. This designation has been a great honor for all its members.

The VCF Foundation has been working with the ID group in its Inclusive VCF since the 2016.17 academic year and has 65 players with ID, who are facilitated in the practice of football as a powerful motivational tool for their personal development and social interaction.

The VCF Inclusivo has the support of its partners and teammates at all times and in each place: Aquaservice, Puma, Supertite, Colevisa, Aliter Soluciones and Grupo Tesela.

In September 2021 Barça Foundation Genuine was formed as a new team of Futbol Club Barcelona with intellectual disability people. At present is composed by 28 men and women. The creation of this team has been one of the first social objectives of Joan Laporta's Board of Directors, and one of the first actions taken by the Club's new Diversity and Inclusion Department.

The Barça Foundation team participated, during the 22-23 season and for the first time, in LaLiga Genuine Santander, and recently during 23-24 season, a competition that places value on scoring goals, but also on sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, respect and self-improvement. LaLiga Genuine Santander aims to further the integration and inclusion of people with disabilities in the world of sport, and consists mainly of teams representing clubs of the Professional Football League.

At Club Tigres, we believe in the power of sport to change lives, this belief is at the core of our commitment to inclusivity and our determination to ensure that everyone, regardless of their abilities, has the opportunity to experience the joy of playing soccer. Tigres Union is our official team for individuals with any intellectual disabilities since 2022, is conformed by 15 players they train twice a week and play on a 7 x 7 field.

They compete local and nationally against other official Mexican soccer teams and NGO’s. It is a team where players can develop their skills, and most importantly, have fun. For Tigres Unión is not just about playing soccer; it is about building a community, creating lasting friendships, and promoting a sense of belonging.

Nàstic Genuine is a football team composed of players with intellectual disabilities that belongs to the Gimnàstic de Tarragona club.

This team was created with the aim of promoting social inclusion and adapted sports, offering people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to enjoy football and compete in an inclusive environment.

Nàstic Genuine was born in April 2016, when Gimnàstic de Tarragona became the founding club of this initiative, actively participating in the creation of LALIGA GENUINE, a league promoted by LALIGA in which teams from the first and second divisions, composed of people with intellectual disabilities in Spain, participate.

In the spirit of our Club motto, Freedom to Dream, Inter Miami and Special Olympics Florida are honored to continue championing inclusivity and diversity through the Team for its fourth consecutive year. We aspire to create a world where every individual, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to shine brightly on the field of play.

Guided by esteemed Special Olympic coaches Daniel Cartaya and Frank Marion III, the team has shown remarkable growth and dedication. The competitive tryout process ensures that our athletes are among the best, ready to showcase their skills and passion for the game.

Our athletes compete for medals in numerous sports in addition to soccer, exemplifying their versatility and commitment to excellence. The IMCF Special Olympics Team embodies the true spirit of sportsmanship and unity, proving that with determination and support, every dream is within reach.

Through this partnership, our team has had the opportunity to showcase their skills against teams such as NY Red Bulls, Atlanta FC, Orlando FC, Charlotte FC, and Chicago FC. Additionally, each year we proudly send players to participate in the unified East vs. West game at the All-Star Game.
